Transport in Île-de-France: work scheduled for the weekend of May 11 and 12, 2024

New works are scheduled for this weekend of May 11 and 12, 2024 on the Paris and Ile-de-France networks of the RATP and SNCF. We take a look at the disruptions expected on the metro, RER and Transilien networks this weekend.

A new weekend of work on the RATP and SNCF networks in the Île-de-France region is scheduled from Saturday May 11 to Sunday May 12, 2024, to make progress on the Grand Paris construction projects, future metro line extensions or simply to keep the network in good condition. Is there going to be a lot of work this time, or is it going to be a quiet weekend? Beware of traffic disruptions and train cancellations, which sometimes need to be anticipated well in advance to avoid unpleasant surprises!

This weekend, two RER, two Transilien and three metro lines are affected. To find alternative routes if you need to travel, the Transilien SNCF website offers alternatives, with buses regularly scheduled to serve stations.

Here are the works scheduled for this weekend

RER A

Traffic is interrupted between Rueil-Malmaison and Le Vésinet Centre.

RER C

No trains run between Brétigny and Saint-Martin d'Etampes.

Line J

Traffic is interrupted between Argenteuil and Mantes la Jolie.

Line K

Traffic is interrupted between Paris Gare du Nord and Mitry - Claye.

Line 7

Until Sunday May 12, traffic is interrupted between La Courneuve - 8 Mai 1945 and Gare de l'Est due to construction work.

Until May 29, the stop is not served at Porte des Lilas in the direction of Mairie des Lilas due to modernization work.
