Nuit des Musées 2024 at the Musée Cernuschi in Paris: an evening of art and change of scenery

The Musée Cernuschi - musée des arts de l'Asie de la Ville de Paris is opening its doors to us this Saturday, May 18, 2024, for a free nocturne organized on the occasion of the 20th edition of the Nuit des musées. Here's what's in store!

La Nuit des Musées returns every year in mid-May, for a unique and very special evening: during this unmissable event, museums, institutions, foundations and artists' houses pull out all the stops to offer visitors an exceptional artistic and cultural experience. The event gives the public the chance to take a fresh look at the collections of museums large and small in Paris and the greater Paris region.

Some offer special guided tours, while others offer shows, children's activities, games or concerts... As you'll see, during this unusual night, even the museums and monuments you know by heart can surprise you.

On Saturday May 18, 2024, for the 20th Nuit des Musées, we're off to the Musée Cernuschi to (re)discover the treasures of Asian art. Ancient objects, sculptures, paintings, bronzes and ceramics, prints and drawings: great civilizations are revealed through these exceptional works.

The Musée Cernuschi awaits us for a special evening in the heart of the 8th arrondissement. Without further ado, here's the detailed program for this Nuit des Musées. Don't forget to get to the museum early to make sure you can enjoy every activity!

Introduction to qi gong in the Salle du Bouddha with the team of Dr. Bingkai Liu, research physician and head of the Centre Intégré de Médecine Chinoise at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, AP-HP, Sorbonne University. Qi gong is a traditional Chinese martial art based on the practice of breathing combined with slow movements, stimulating concentration.
