Christmas Market 2024 in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois (91): educational farm, little train and ponies

This weekend, from December 6 to 8, 2024, the Parc Pablo Neruda in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois becomes the place to be if you want to get into the Christmas spirit in Essonne (91)! A Christmas market just the way we like them: festive, warm and full of surprises. Whether you're looking for original gifts, gourmet treats or simply a dose of enchantment, this event is the perfect way to celebrate the festive season!

On December 6, the festivities kick off with a concert by young talents from the Centre Artistique Rudolf Nureyev, followed by the launch of the Christmas illuminations. On the program: a gourmet village where local artisans unveil the flavors of Christmas. Mulled wine, hot chocolate and onion soup offered by the town, to warm up with friends and neighbors. For the occasion, a Christmas bus will be on hand to collect toy donations, while hot chestnuts will be sold for the benefit of the Telethon. An educational farm and pony rides will delight the youngest visitors, while the ACA (association des commerçants et artisans) little train will take you on a magical tour of Sainte-Geneviève under the Christmas lights!

The weekend continues with the arrival of Santa Claus and his elves for photo sessions, a Christmas parade and enchanted strolls that will put stars in the eyes of young and old alike.

Friday, December 6

• Concert by students of the Centre Artistique Rudolf Nureyev - 6 - 7:30 pm
  Come and applaud the talented students of the Conservatoire as they take to the stage to "play Christmas"!
• Inaugural speech by Frédéric Petitta, followed by the official launch of the Downtown Christmas lights - 7:30 pm
  Distribution of mulled wine, hot chocolate and onion soup offered by the Town and served by the Conseil des Sages (Council of Elders)
• Arrival of the Christmas bus to collect your donations of toys, which will be redistributed to the city's solidarity associations for Christmas (with IDF Mobilités).
• Sale of hot chestnuts in aid of the Telethon and donations of children's books by the Conseil des Sages
• ACA (Association des Commerçants et Artisans de la Ville)little train: it's back to show you the town center by night!
• Gourmet village: come and discover the treasures of Genovese artisans and indulge in the flavours of Christmas!

Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8

• The Christmas Parade: young and old alike will be delighted by the strolls of the Acidu, Batuc Maracatu and Disney Cosplay companies!
• Santa Claus and his elves have confirmed their presence: take advantage of their company to organize your photo session!
• Singing Christmas together - Gospel songs and Pop'scouts concert (Saturday only)
• Balloons come to life before your very eyes! Adopt a funny animal or a superhero with our balloon sculptor!
• Hot chestnut sale to benefit the Telethon and children's book donations by the Conseil des Sages
