A new weekend of work on the RATP and SNCF networks in the Île-de-France region is scheduled for Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8, 2024, to make progress on the Grand Paris construction projects, future metro line extensions or simply to keep the network in good condition. Is there going to be a lot of work this time, or is it going to be a quiet weekend? Beware of traffic disruptions and train cancellations, which sometimes need to be anticipated well in advance to avoid unpleasant surprises!
This weekend, two RER, three Transilien and three metro lines are affected. To find alternative routes if you need to travel, the Transilien SNCF website offers alternatives, with buses regularly scheduled to serve stations.
Traffic is interrupted between Pont de Rungis Aéroport d'Orly and Massy-Palaiseau.
Fewer trains are running between Paris Gare de Lyon and Melun, with every other train cancelled.
Traffic is interrupted between Issou Porcheville and Mantes-la-Jolie and between Les Mureaux and Mantes-la-Jolie, as well as between Paris Saint-Lazare and Val de Reuil.
Traffic is interrupted between Mitry - Claye and Paris Gare du Nord.
Traffic is interrupted between Épône - Mézières and Mantes-la-Jolie.
Until December 22, on weekends from 16:00 to 23:00, access to Tuileries station is closed.
On Sunday, December 8, traffic will be interrupted between Charles de Gaulle - Etoile and Trocadéro due to modernization work.
On Sunday December 8 from 22:00, traffic will be interrupted on the entire line due to modernization work.
