Despite the reopening of the Grand Palais, the Grand Palais Ephémère still stands on the Champs de Mars. Initially scheduled for the end of November, the structure is due to be dismantled by April 2025.

While the Grand Palais, located in the 8tharrondissement of Paris, was undergoing extensive renovation work, resulting in its closure for several years, on the Champs de Mars, the Grand Palais Éphémère was erected to ensure the continuation of programming at the famous Parisian landmark. During the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Grand Palais, whose reopening was eagerly awaited in the capital, welcomed back the general public for the fencing and Taekwondo events.

This major event inaugurated the gradual reopening of the Grand Palais and the return of its programming under the monument's immense glass roof. Meanwhile, opposite the Eiffel Tower, the Grand Palais Immersif still stands. However, GL Events, which is responsible for the structure, had originally undertaken to dismantle it entirely by November 30, 2024.

So, when will the Grand Palais Éphémère take its final bow on the Champs de Mars? The dismantling of the structure has now been delayed, and GL Events has announced that it will take place by April 2025 at the latest.
