A new OUIGO train line, , the SNCF's low-cost subsidiary, has just opened, with trains running between two capital cities: Brussels and Paris. Slower, but above all, more economical for your wallet, tickets are already on sale on the SNCF Connect and OUIGO websites.
Whereas it usually takes just 1 hour 23 minutes to travel from one capital to the other by train with Eurostar, from now on the journey will be longer, with a three-hour train journey, but much cheaper, with tickets starting at €10 for adults and €5 for children, with a maximum price not exceeding €59 one-way.
According to Le Parisien, there will be three round trips a day between Gare du Nord (in Paris) and Brussels-Midi station, serving other towns in the Hauts-de-France region: Creil, Aulnoye-Aymeries and Mons. For our four-legged friends, please note that they will also need a ticket, costing €10 per fur ball.
To spend a weekend or a day discovering Brussels, book your tickets now for a city-trip to the capital of the flat country, accessible directly by train from Paris!
