Attention all metal music fans! Every December 12, we celebrate the International Day of Metal Music. For the record, this world metal day was launched on December 12, 2012 (i.e. 12/12/12) by a British metal fan named Iron Mathew Collins. Since then, metal music has been celebrated all over the world every December 12!
As you probably know, this musical style has many fans and followers. Thrash metal, heavy metal and metalcore concerts and festivals are becoming increasingly common in Paris and the rest of France.
Hellfest is, of course, a case in point. In 2024, the French festival dedicated to extreme music made an indisputable impression with concerts by Metallica, Machine Head, Mass Hysteria, Megadeth and Avenged Sevenfold. In 2025, Hellfest once again intends to delight both eyes and ears with a four-day event.
By 2025, metal bands and artists will be treading Parisian stages in equal numbers. What's on the bill? British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, as well as Americans Papa Roach, Pantera and Limp Bizkit. Not forgetting the Welsh band Bullet for My Valentine, Japan's Babymetal, Germany's Eisbrecher, Norway's Kvelertak and Sweden's Sabaton.
The French will also be well represented by Mass Hysteria and Gojira. The band led by the Duplantier brothers will be performing a highly-anticipated concert at theAccor Arena in Paris.
