Looking for something to do with your kids over the Christmas vacations? The musical Hansel and Gretel can be seen at the Palais des Glaces until January 26, 2025, and promises to delight young and old alike!
At the Palais des Glaces, you'll discover the story of Hansel and Gretel, two young children living peacefully with their courageous father and cruel stepmother in a charming thatched cottage. One day, the stepmother leads them into the heart of the forest, with the dark intention of abandoning them there. Disoriented and alone, the two children discover a strange house inhabited by a mysterious old woman.
Between sweets and gingerbread, enchanted creatures and dark enchantments, the musical Hansel and Gretel at the Palais des Glaces reinvents a tale where the imagination becomes their greatest strength. A story full of poetry and suspense, where children's courage is put to the test in an enchanted and disquieting universe.
The tale of Hansel and Gretel is said to have originated in German oral tradition and was later immortalized by the Grimm brothers in the XIXᵉ century. Adapted numerous times for cinema and theater, the tale is back on the bill at a Parisian theater, the Palais des Glaces. A musical comedy that should appeal to young and old alike, it plays every Saturday and Sunday, and Monday to Friday at 2pm during school vacations.
