The sequel to 30 Jours Max, 3 Jours Max continues the adventures of Rayane, the worst policeman ever. Directed by Tarek Boudali, the film premieres on Canal+ this Friday, May 3, 2024.

3 Jours Max, a comedy directed and performed by Tarek Boudali, and featuring the entire Bande à Fifi, led by Philippe Lacheau is broadcast for the first time on Canal+ this Friday, May 3, 2024.

The film introduces us to Rayane, a policeman who, despite his clumsiness, became a hero in 30 Days Max. However, his heroism is once again called upon in more complex circumstances: his grandmother is being held hostage by a Mexican cartel. And to save her, he only has 3 days... max. And to save her, he'll have to travel around the world, from Paris to Abu Dhabi, via Cancún, plenty of opportunities to demonstrate his idiocy and create moments of comedy.

And if you're a fan of the Bande à Fifi universe, you'll have no trouble finding your way around. The humor is similar to the team's other productions, which attract millions of viewers every time. And in this new opus, Boudali has fun pastiching all the heroes of action and spy films: Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible, James Bond, Taken, Terminator, and many others. The below-the-belt humor and multiplicity of visual gags don't appeal to us, especially as no effort is made in the staging to reach the height of the films mentioned. Let's not even get into the inconsistencies of the script, because one thing's for sure: audiences who buy tickets for 3 Jours Max know what they're getting.

Even so, that doesn't stop 3 Jours Max from failing in all its parodies, from presenting a story where every twist and turn is a pretext for a gag, and that sexism is still as present (if not more so) than in the other productions of the Bande à Fifi. When you want to make a parody, you have to at least master comedy, if not the genre you're pastiche, in this case espionage.
