Now in its 18th year, the Domaine de Saint-Cloud 's Concerts & Jeux d'Eau event invites Parisians and tourists alike to discover talented artists over a bucolic weekend in one of the most beautiful gardens in the Île-de-France region. This year, the date is set for the weekend of June 8 and 9, 2024. You won't want to miss this free festival , which brings this listed historic monument to life.

With Concerts et jeux d'eau, the Centre des monuments nationaux echoes the history of this park. When Monsieur, brother of King Louis XIV, made the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud his princely residence, he had a château built, which has since disappeared, as well as the gardens we know today. The idea was to make it a festive place, combining music and the pleasure of water. The perspectives designed by Le Nôtre invite us to stroll through the 460-hectare estate. Alternating with the sounds of instruments and the melody of voices, waterfalls, jets and pools come to life to the delight of visitors.
Under the artistic supervision of Françoise Degeorges, producer at Radio France, the festival once again focuses on world music, encouraging a sonic exploration of music from elsewhere. For its 18th edition, the event presents an eclectic program, with musical influences and moods from all horizons.
For the 2024 edition of the"Concert et jeux d'eaux" festival, a new musical work entitled"Sky and Earth" will be presented, featuring a quintet from Mali and Vietnam. The rhythms of Ballaké Sissoko's kora will merge with Huong Thanh's vocals, Lansiné Kouyaté's balafon, Alex Tran's percussion and Joachim Oroseman's bass, offering a genuine invitation to travel and contemplation.
Audiences will also have the opportunity to discover"Chakâm", a musical trio featuring Sogol Mirzaei from Iran on târ, Christine Zayed from Palestine on quanum, and Marie-Suzanne de Loye from France on viola da gamba. Together, they create a captivating dialogue between strings, alternating between powerful energy and gentleness, enriched by occasional singing.
Italian music will be celebrated by the group Télamuré, formed in Paris in 2008 by three musicians from southern Italy. The trio, made up of Francesco Rosa, Giovanni Semeraro and Francesco Semeraro, offer an intense, immersive musical experience, blending voices, rhythms and energy while immersing listeners in their rich traditional culture.
The festival continues with Lehna Sam, whose musical approach eliminates all artifice to focus on pure emotion and expressive intensity. Accompanied by talented pianist Louise Thiolon, Lehna blends musical colors with the melancholy nuances of the ocean.
The festival closes on Sunday evening with the Venezuelan music of KIRPA, featuring Cristobal Soto on arpa llenera, Josué Omana on vocals and cuatro, Manuel Sanchez on double bass, and Rafael Mejias on maracas, promising an evening of dance and discovery.

As you may have guessed, as well as being free and open-air, these concerts are combined with water shows, bringing back to life the historic festivities around the fountains, jets and waterfalls of the estate. Stroll through the 460-hectare estate, in harmony with the sounds of instruments, the voices of singers and the movement of water.
