Rendez-vous aux Jardins is the annual event that invites you to discover the most beautiful gardens, parks and squares in the Paris region. Organized by the French Ministry of Culture every first weekend in June, this event opens the doors to hundreds of public and private gardens, which in turn offer guided tours, creative workshops, exhibitions and conferences.
In Paris, you can discover the prestigious gardens of the Hôtel Matignon, visit the unmissable Jardin du Luxembourg, or explore the large park of the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris, in the 14th arrondissement. Founded in 1925, the Cité is an emblem of intercultural harmony and exchange. Located in the south of Paris, in the 14th arrondissement, it extends over a vast park where some forty houses and foundations stand, each recalling the architecture of the country and world zone it represents. Morocco, Mexico, Asia, Great Britain... Each building has been designed in the effigy of a country or region of the world, reflecting the cultural diversity of its residents. The CIUP was conceived with the idea of promoting peace by creating a living space for students, researchers and artists from all over the world.
Parc de la Cité, open to the public every day, is a beautiful green space to the south of Paris, where you can enjoy a stroll, a jog or a picnic in fine weather... Located on the route of the GR75 - the hiking trail that circles Paris - the park can be discovered on a guided tour during these Rendez-vous aux Jardins 2024.
