Pierre Hermé, world-renowned for his pastry creations, is now enriching his gourmet universe with the opening of Infiniment Chocolat. This boutique, distinguished by its commitment to exploring the infinite potential of cocoa, offers chocolate lovers a space entirely dedicated to this passion. As soon as you enter, the décor designed by the Jouin Manku studio envelops you: materials with different textures take you on a journey through the different stages of chocolate, from mold to bar.
The experience begins with a warm welcome, where each visitor receives a chocolate Fleur de Capucine (a reference to the rue des Capucines, where the boutique is located), a symbol of Pierre Hermé's delicacy and creativity. The tour continues with the discovery of the house's collections, available under different names: Signature, Possession, Complices, and Méditation, each offering a unique interpretation of chocolate. These selections are enriched by ephemeral creations that invite visitors to return to discover new flavors.
We're captivated by Fleurs de Guimauve (marshmallow flowers ), which reveal a runny caramel heart, followed by bonbon Algae (Nori seaweed, yuzu and a hint of lemon) and bonbon à la baie de Timur. We love PH Cubes, those explosive little bites that are impossible to resist(peated whisky, pistachio & orange blossom, black olive and olive oil...). Created at the time for Jean-François Piège at Brasserie Thoumieux, they're a real delight. The expression, small but sturdy, makes perfect sense.
Pierre Hermé, as a great enthusiast, tells us that he works on his chocolates so that when tasted, the first note is the chocolate, then the flavors of the gourmet creation before ending again on the chocolate note. This is why the thickness of his chocolates can sometimes be thicker.
The boutique also offers a range of products to extend the experience at home, including spreads, hot chocolate preparations and macaron chocolate bars. This dialogue between pastry and chocolate creates unique products that are "infinitely good".
All the chocolates come from Maison Vahrona, which develops exclusive recipes for Pierre Hermé. While Pierre Hermé chocolates can already be found in pastry shops, this new boutique takes cocoa creations even further. You'll find unique chocolates in 100% plastic-free packaging. This is the first Pierre Hermé boutique to fully integrate this eco-responsible approach.
In the center of the boutique, the counter allows you to put together customized gift boxes. If you're looking for a pretty, refined and gourmet gift, it goes without saying that the boutique has something to make you happy. Wall-mounted shelves offer a glimpse of all the company's creations, from classic tablets and beggars to a wide variety of gift sets.
In short, if you like good chocolate with straightforward flavors that explode in your mouth, you'll have to try Infiniment Chocolat, Pierre Hermé's new chocolate shop.
