The Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal is playing the novelty card and launching its very first Yule log! Chef Jean-Yves Bournot, of Le Lulli restaurant, was asked to imagine and create the Bûche Malle.

After the logs from the Royal Monceau-Raffles Paris, the Park Hyatt and the Burgundy Paris, here's one from the Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal.

And this event is all the more important as it's the very first Christmas dessert imagined by the Parisian hotel.

For this creation, the Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal created the " Malle" log, in homage to the gigantic trunk (2.60 m high, 3 m wide) that sits at the foot of the majestic staircase.

For this gourmet creation, Jean-Yves Bournot, Chef at Le Lulli restaurant, imagined a log featuring a chocolate ganache on a joconde cookie to share with friends and family.

Completely covered in an ochre coat, the log is enhanced by chocolate hardware.

Both creamy and generous, this Christmas dessert is sure to delight even the most demanding gourmets!
