Pop up store. Is this a term that speaks to you? It's an ephemeral boutique designed to highlight a brand, the launch of a new line, or a new piece.
For several years now, pop-up stores have been flourishing in the capital. Fashion, jewelry and accessories, beauty and sports, home decor, i-tech and even food, they often appear at events such as Paris Fashion Week, or only during the year. These ephemeral stores are particularly popular, thanks to behemoths such as OFF WHITE, Jacquemus and Balenciaga, who are no strangers to the system.
The aim of this time-limited showcase operation is to promote one or more products in a creative atmosphere specific to each brand. This is a real boon for the labels, who can express their creativity to the full, making the space an inspiring, immersive experience in the brand's universe.
Often located in department stores, the pop-up phenomenon also criss-crosses the capital with ephemeral premises, sometimes offering events such as workshops or live music.
