The Place de la Nation district is a discreet and somewhat out-of-the-way part of the capital, yet it's home to numerous green spaces for lounging, charming churches to visit on the Charonne side, and some very good bistronomic restaurants - but not only - for dining out with friends.
And if you push a little further, to the south-west of the historic square, you'll find yourself in less than 30 minutes on foot in one of the capital's green lungs, the famous Bois de Vincennes! Vast and verdant, Nation and the 12th arrondissement in general are family neighborhoods par excellence. And children have plenty of room to play!
