Ten minutes from the Auvers-sur-Oise train station, not far from the places made famous by Vincent Van Gogh in his paintings, the GCU campsite in Auvers-sur-Oise is the only campsite in the village: family-friendly and on a human scale, discover with us this spot where to spend your week's vacation in the 95!

Set on the banks of the River Oise, the Auvers-sur-Oise campsite is so discreet that you could probably pass it by without realizing it. And in the end, that's the whole point of this little haven of tranquillity with a total of 30 pitches, a far cry from the huge, trendy campsites with their bungalows, sturdy teepees, swimming pool and inflatable games. At GCU, you only have what you need, and whether you're staying for one or two nights or a whole week, you'll soon realize that this is more than enough for a great vacation.

Whether you're on foot, by bike, with a converted van or camper van, you can easily park and pitch your tent at GCU for really affordable prices and, above all, in a very bucolic spot, right by the water. We call this campsite the GCU d'Auvers-sur-Oise, because it belongs to the Groupement des Campeurs Universitaires, an association that invites you to experience camping differently, in a more supportive and, above all, participative way. Camping at one of the campsites belonging to the Groupement des Campeurs Universitaires (GCU) means respecting certain commitments: the GCU is based on everyone's participation, so here, every camper takes care of the campsite's upkeep on a voluntary basis, taking turns cleaning the common areas, answering the telephone, acting as secretary... If you're staying for a week, you'll need to set aside half a day to clean the common areas and take care of reception (you'll be given a duty rota when you register). If you're only staying for one or two nights, this is not compulsory.

You'll also be asked to pay an annual GCU membership fee, ranging from €10 to €26, which gives you access to all the GCU campsites in France (around fifty).

Facilities include several showers, WCs, washbasins for washing up, a baby area, a shower accessible to PRMs with an adapted ramp, a washing-up area (in a separate room from the bathroom) with large tubs for washing your plates, a washing machine, free wifi... The campsite is open from May 12 to September 24, 2023 this year, and offers pitches for rent at very affordable prices: from €10 to €14 for a pitch and an adult (per night)!

If you're visiting Auvers-sur-Oise this weekend or for your next vacation, don't forget to book your stay at the campsite!
