Camels, but also dromedaries, llamas and alpacas in Paris? This weekend, camelids were to take to the streets of the capital to mark the world year of these artiodactyl mammals. To celebrate the event, a large camelid parade was scheduled to take place in the heart of Paris this Saturday, April 20, 2024, with the participation of some thirty foreign delegations. However, the Prefecture de Police issued an order banning the event from the streets of Paris, proposing an alternative route through the Bois de Vincennes. The parade will therefore start this Saturday afternoon from the esplanade of the Château de Vincennes.
