After the Nuit de la Solidarité organized by the City of Paris in January, initial estimates indicate that 4277 homeless people were counted in 2024 in Greater Paris, far more than the previous year.
With temperatures expected to drop this week, the city of Paris and other departments in the Ile-de-France region activated their "extreme cold" plan on the evening of Monday January 8, in order to release accommodation places for the homeless.
Solidarity Night will take place on the night of January 25-26, 2024. During this operation, associations and Parisian volunteers will count the number of homeless people in the capital.
