McG, whose real name is Joseph McGinty Nichol, is an American director and producer born on August 9, 1968 in Kalamazoo. Known for his hit music videos, he made a name for himself in Hollywood with Charlie's Angels (2000) and Terminator Renaissance (2009). An all-rounder, he also made his mark on the world of series, producing Supernatural and Chuck. A master of the blockbuster, McG often combines action and comedy, as in Target (2012) with Tom Hardy and Chris Pine.
