The Memorial to the Victims of Slavery moves to the Trocadero Gardens

The national memorial to the victims of slavery, primit by Emmanuel Macron in 2018, will soon be erected in the Trocadero gardens, Paris, as announced on September 20. This memorial will detail the names of 200,000 slaves freed in 1848 in regions such as Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Reunion and Martinique.
