Printemps Haussmann's 2024 Christmas Showcases: come aboard the Printemps Express!

Christmas is just around the corner, and a whiff of magic is already wafting over the capital. The alleys of Paris arelit up, and the windows of the department stores are unveiled. It's time to get out your scarves and woolly hats, because the festive season is just around the corner! This year, Printemps Haussmann is redoubling its magic to transport you to the heart of an enchanted story that will awaken your childlike souls.

Tchou-tchouuu! Can you hear the whistle of the Printemps Express announcing the start of a magical journey? From November 7 to December 31, 2024,climb aboard the Printemps Christmas train, as it makes its way through snow-covered woods and mountains, before stopping off in the department store's window displays.

In the first, the station is in full swing! Groomsand passengers are busy loading suitcases and gift packs on the platform. Tickets are crumpled in the hands, notice boards come alive, and passengers can't wait to get back to their seats.

Attention, station announcement: this new edition celebrates the double anniversary of 100 years of animated window displays and 50 years of window displays in motion ! Since 1924, Christmas window displays have been the stuff of dreams for Parisians, and this year, they're no match for the scenes from the most beautiful fairy tales. Under the fairy fingers of Valérie Cuter, the department store's seamstress since 1998, the 132 super-look characters in the windows come to life from recycled materials (cardboard, paper, fabric), awakening the eco-friendly spirit without taking away an ounce of magic from the show.

Car after car, it's Christmas at every station! As soon as the whistle blows, the journey gets off to a flying start. First stop: the restaurant car, where the festive dinner brings guests together in their finest attire. Between shared laughter, festive meals and snow-covered landscapes, the magic invites itself to the table. Hats off to the little hands at Printemps who orchestrate every detail, right down to the Dalmatian sniffing the sweet aroma of the feast.

We continue with a detour to the Haussmann Suite! In this luxury carriage, first-class service is on full display: on one side, an elegant suite in which a passenger is styled, dressed and pampered like a star, and on the other, a corridor where bellboys are at work around a golden cart overflowing with packages.

For a fast-paced Christmas, head for the gift wagon: an XXL tree glistens under the snowflakes, surrounded by golden FERRERO ROCHER© pyramids. Children can't wait to pounce on the wrapped packages waiting to be unwrapped.

Finally, to immortalize the journey, stop off at the Christmas photo studio, nestled in one of the department store's windows. Keep a souvenir of your visit from Wednesday to Sunday, from 12pm to 8pm, or pose alongside Santa Claus, available in the flesh on weekends in December, from 2pm to 7pm.
