Easter is coming to La Grande Épicerie de Paris until April 1, 2024. On the menu? Four cute figurines, straight from the chocolate-filled depths of rue de Sèvres and rue de Passy, that are sure to capture the hearts of children young and old!

As Easter 2024 approaches, La Grande Épicerie de Paris is plunging us into an ocean of chocolatey treats with its ultra-gourmet and playful collection. From now until April 1, 2024, we'll be taking a dip in the gourmet temple on Rue de Sèvres and Rue de Passy, to discover a band of cocoa-loving friends who are sure to tantalize our taste buds: the Choco Mer.

La Grande Épicerie's chefs, Thibault Leroy for pastries and Mathieu Mooc for chocolate, take you on an underwater adventure, led by four chewy little companions: Choco Poulpe, Choco Star, Choco Crabe and Choco Fish. And guess what? This year, Easter Monday falls on April 1! That means fish on your back and chocolates in your belly!

These funny sea creatures, handcrafted in Le Grand Magasin's laboratories, come in dark chocolate (pure Madagascar origin) or milk chocolate (pure Peru origin). Gluttonous, they even hide delicate fried seafood in their plump bellies.

Choco Fish plays the adventurer with his yellow flippers, while Choco Crabe observes the underwater world with his snorkel and bathing cap. Meanwhile, Choco Star takes to the high seas in his captain's cap, and Choco Octopus slips between the rocks in his adorable Breton bonnet.

And to put the icing on the chocolate cake, La Grande Épicerie de Paris opened its doors to three guests - LB Le Chocolat, Madame Cacao and Les Petits Carreaux de Paris - challenging them to come up with an exclusive marine-themed creation. Similarly, to tide you over until Easter, the rue de Sèvres store invites you to savour Basques from Maison Adam and chocolate mousses from chez Chapon.

Of course, La Grande Épicerie de Paris also offers many other chocolate creations, which can be found on its official website.

On your marks, get set, chocolates, go!
