At Easter, tradition is no laughing matter! Easter brunch, festive egg hunts and chocolate overdoses ... Everywhere in Paris and the Ile-de-France region, rabbits refine their hiding places and gourmands sharpen their noses. This year, for a gourmet, fun-filled celebration, Herblay-sur-Seine (Val-d'Oise - 95), on Sunday April 20, 2025. The Comité des Fêtes has cooked up a morning of treasure hunting (or rather, eggs) with a cocoa twist!
The town's Place de la Halle is set to become a veritable hunting ground, where children can set off in search of eggs hidden by market traders. With their baskets in hand, little explorers and gourmands alike will have to keep their eyes peeled and their noses to the grindstone, because the sweets have to be earned! The morning promises plenty of entertainment: face-painting, family games and riddles, and also... the grand prize-giving ceremony for the creative competition.
Children aged 2 to 10 have until Monday April 14 to submit their Easter artworks to our partner stores (see here). All you have to do is let your imagination run wild! And don't panic, there are no losers here - everyone goes home with a chocolate treat, even if the 20 most inspired winners will be celebrated in style at 11am.
To round off the morning on a high note, we'll be serving up an array of sweet treats for you to savor without moderation. It's all free, open to all, no registration required! So, are you ready to fill up on chocolate and good cheer at the Herblay-sur-Seine egg hunt?
