Halloween 2023: a cooking workshop and treasure hunt at the medieval town of Provins

For Halloween 2023, the medieval town of Provins is offering a number of activities for children and families, from 2 years upwards. On the program: a cooking workshop and a treasure hunt, to soak up the atmosphere of a medieval fortress.

During the All Saints' vacation season, it's hard to miss THE holiday to celebrate on October 31: Halloween. Monsters, pumpkins, witches and ghosts are the order of the day for children and families in the capital, but also in the medieval town of Provins, less than an hour from Paris.

In Provins, you can take advantage of the many activities planned for the occasion, including a magical cauldron hunt to discover the medieval town of Provins while having fun, cooking workshops(booking required), storytelling and more. Magic cauldron hunt in the medieval town

Start the treasure hunt at Place du Châtel, then set off through the medieval city to meet Provins' shopkeepers and restaurants and try to win a cauldron full of sweets! Departure Saturday, October 29 at 11 a.m., free participation without reservation.

Medieval gastronomy workshop

Prepare a 3-course meal as traditionally done in the Middle Ages.

  • When? Saturday, October 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • How much? 65 € per person

Celtic pastry workshop

In honor of Samain, the traditional Celtic and Gallic festival, learn how to prepare Celtic pastries.

Witches' hats to devour and stories to listen to

La Biscuiterie Médiévale invites you to make a witch's hat to devour, followed by a Halloween story.

Spell Farm

Come and face your greatest fears at the Châtel farm! On the program: scarecrow market, fear trail, axe throwing and decorated pumpkin contest.
