For the 40th edition of the Journées du Patrimoine, theEmbassy of the Czech Republic is opening its doors to all visitors, allowing us to tour the building freely on Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22, 2024. Located a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower, the Czech Embassy was built in 1912, to designs by architect Pierre Humbert. The first floor comprises three salons and a landscaped garden. An elegant and refined setting, it showcases the culture and wealth of the Czech Republic.

Three exhibitions and a lecture will complement the visit to the salons:
- A lecture on the historical parallels and links between our two countries, illustrated by the example of Emperor Charles IV, an emblematic figure in Czech history. Presented by Aleš Jiránek - architect, illustrator.
- Panoramas of Prague - the exhibition traces the evolution of the panorama of the city of Prague, from the year 1000 to the year 2000 (authors: Aleš Jiránek, Jan Vrabec, Philippus Van den Bosche).
- The Eiffel Tower's younger sister - this outdoor exhibition, on the fence of the Embassy garden, will introduce you to the parallel between the panoramas of the Czech and French capitals - the Eiffel Tower and the Petřín Tower, also known as the Eiffel Tower's younger sister. Produced in collaboration with Prague City Tourism.
- A presentation of BROKIS luxury lighting fixtures - as part of an exceptional collaboration, the Embassy of the Czech Republic is currently presenting a selection of BROKIS lighting fixtures from the PRISMA, MUFFINS, MONA, BALLONS, DOME and IVY collections.Internationally renowned for its luxury lighting fixtures, BROKIS symbolizes the alliance of refined design and exceptional quality with the expertise of Czech glass craftsmen.
