The last tug built in France in 1954, converted into a pusher in 1960, this heritage boat is listed as a Monument Historique. Discover the captain's and deckhand's quarters, the engine room and the wheelhouse. Two other heritage boats are moored at the heritage stop: a jib pontoon used as an airlock for tours of the Triton 25, and a steam tug, the Jacques, from 1905, also a listed historic monument.
Tour itineraries
In 1931, General Louis Chauvineau was commissioned to build some 260 "blocks" (concrete structures) from Conflans Sainte-Honorine to La Ferté-sous-Jouarre to create an anti-tank defense line capable of stopping motorized vehicles and covering Paris. A bike tour will allow you to discover this little-known heritage of the Second World War.
