Understanding this history through chronology means taking a journey to the heart of the city's urban transformations. Varying the scale of the gaze from ornament to facade alignment enables us to go beyond the administrative logic of neighborhoods and propose a broader reading grid, which is at the same time closer to the topographical reality at work in Courbevoie.

Reconfiguring itself according to its needs, the town remains a veritable laboratory of experimentation for architects from the 17th century to the present day, and is an exemplary representative of the urban landscapes of western Paris.

This 144 m² polyptych is part of the Paris La Défense art trail, the largest open-air art trail in France. Some of the greatest artists to have left their mark on the business district include Alexander Calder, Richard Serra, Takis, Daniel Buren, Joan Miró and César.)

Guillaume Bottazzi is recognized as a pioneer of neuroesthetics, which brings neurobiology and art into our environment to help improve our mental health and reduce social tensions.

2025 is the year of mental health, and visual artist Guillaume Bottazzi invites us on a gigantic artistic journey with 86 heritage artworks to be discovered throughout France as part of the 42nd European Heritage Days. Neuroscience has proven that this artist's works are good for us, and the Health Organization has confirmed that art can help our mental health. Neuroaesthetics is gaining considerable ground in our environment, and the public is invited to immerse themselves in the artist's poetic universe and measure the effects of this new trend that is now part of our daily lives. The aim is to produce chemical effects on us that contribute to our mental health. These heritage works, anchored in our daily lives, reduce our anxiety and feelings of loneliness. In particular, they produce dopamine, serotonin and oxytocin. They make us happier and stronger, more elegant and healthier. They reduce the effects of depression, promote social cohesion and help us take a step back from things. They comfort us, facilitate the appropriation of spaces and reduce social tensions. They contribute to peace and love in the world.

Guillaume Bottazzi has created over a hundred heritage works in Europe, the United States, China and Japan, commissioned by cities, museums and architects. They are part of the architectural heritage of the places where they are installed.
