Every year, the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) take place on the third weekend of September, offering a wide range of cultural events all over Europe. On September 20 and 21, 2025, a rich program of events takes over our heritage treasures.
Museums, monuments, castles and even ministries, embassies and hospitals: every year, many places play the Heritage Days game in Paris and throughout the Île-de-France region. A rich program of guided and self-guided tours, events, workshops and other surprises awaits you in these astonishing places. With each edition, there's so much to choose from that it's hard not to fall in love, even for the youngest visitors!
You'll probably even have the opportunity to take advantage of them near you. In fact, the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) can also be the perfect time to discover the lesser-known heritage of the Paris region. This time, we're heading for the Hauts-de-Seine to stop off in the town of Antony, not far from the Domaine de Sceaux. Here, you'll find numerous organized tours of the town's various monuments.
