As every summer, modernization work is continuing on public transport. While disruptions are expected on the metro (lines 4,12, 13, etc.), service interruptions are also to be expected on the RER network. All lines are affected, except for line E. New service interruptions are therefore scheduled for summer 2026 due to "the replacement of track equipment, sleepers, and ballast."
These works will have an impact on users and will therefore causeservice disruptions. The RER A will beclosed fromAugust 8 to 23, 2026, between Vincennes (not included) and Noisy-le-Grand - Mont d'Est, i.e., for almost the entire month of August. The Nation station will also be closed for two months while SNCF Réseau replaces four sets of points at Maisons-Laffitte station, working at night on weekdays from June1 to 17 and continuously over five weekends from June 6 to July 5.
