On the occasion of Nuit des Musées, the Musée d'histoire urbaine et sociale, located in Suresnes ( Hauts-de-Seine), invites you to discover its spaces at night, free of charge, on Saturday May 17, 2025. The aim of this museum is to present the city's history, its urban landscape and its social and economic evolution... In short, the history of the city's social planning from the 1920s to the 1940s.
A museum that invites you to wander through its permanent collections, spread over the two levels of the old station, while temporary exhibitions are concentrated in the museum extension, as well as in "l'atelier", a space for educational activities and conferences.
The museum itinerary has been modernized, offering the very best in new technologies to immerse visitors in the city's history, through topographical models, olfactory terminals, films and touch-screen terminals. The museum also includes a documentation center, with access to the collections database to discover the objects held in the museum's reserves.
