For Nuit des Musées, which takes place this Saturday, May 18, 2024, the Musée Carnavalet is organizing a number of artistic events to showcase its collections and news. It's sure to be a great cultural night out in Paris!

A wonderful evening ahead... The Musée Carnavalet, a museum dedicated to the history of Paris, is taking part in the 20th edition of the Nuit des Musées (Museum Night), and on Saturday, May 18, 2024, it's offering a brand new event, to be discovered in the early evening, in the museum gardens.

The Musée Carnavalet retraces thehistory of the capital, from prehistory to the present day, through a journey highlighting over 3,800 works and settings. A journey through centuries, cultures and eras. Archaeological remains, paintings, objects, costumes, models, urban furniture and reconstructed settings: the Musée Carnavalet reveals the thousand faces of Paris.

These exceptional collections include some very well-known historical pieces, as well as unjustly forgotten treasures. The museum also offers regular temporary exhibitions, highlighting particular periods in history or artists who have fallen in love with the capital.

A beautiful museum to discover without delay, which often has a few surprises in store for us... Here's the proof, with the program for this 20th Nuit des Musées.
