Nuit Blanche is back on June 1, 2024. Join street-artist Meuh for an original and artistic animation on the Canal Saint-Denis.

Sleep is important for good health: doctors recommend around eight hours' sleep a night... Except once a year. On Saturday, June 1, 2024, we're doing Nuit Blanche! This major Parisian artistic event returns for a new edition that promises even more surprises, wonders and discoveries.

Created in 2002, the Nuit Blanche is an event organized by the City of Paris to promote and highlightcontemporary art. For a whole night, the capital and its surroundings are transformed into an open-air museum: in the streets, squares and bridges, in parks and gardens, but also in museums, art galleries, monuments, libraries, churches and cultural venues, numerous artistic events are presented to the public.

Nuit Blanche extends to towns in the inner suburbs of Paris. This June 1, 2024, we invite you to stroll between the 19th arrondissement and Saint-Denis, along the Canal Saint-Denis. There, you can admire the works of Street Art Avenue, and even enjoy a unique event with family and friends...

The program for this Nuit Blanche 2024 at Canal Saint-Denis includes:

  • Initiation Graffiti sur la Street-Art Avenue à Saint-Denis
Come and try your hand at graffiti on the banks of the Canal Saint-Denis, with artist Meuh, while discovering the history of this urban art form! Artist Meuh invites you to discover the history of graffiti, the art that adorns the urban landscape. You'll learn the codes of this art form, the techniques for deciphering the different letterings and styles that make up its history! Meuh will then introduce you to the spray can and the lettering, so that together we can create a work of street art! Meuh is a graffiti artist and street art guide, and a great connoisseur of the Saint-Denis and Ourcq canals. Following the walk, you can continue along the Saint-Denis canal to discover an urban art trail, the Street Art Avenue, begun in 2016, which is constantly being enriched and reinvented!
    Location: Saint-Denis
    Duration: 1h
Access by public transport: Saint-Denis Porte de Paris (line 13)

An original evening that's sure to leave you with unique memories!
