Nuit Blanche invites itself to the Philharmonie de Paris with Nuit des Petits. All evening on October 1, 2022, the Philharmonie welcomes children and their parents for a musical and festive experience on the theme of nature and animals. From 6pm to 10pm, several collectives and artists will be offering concerts and performances in the conference room and hall.
Nuit Blanche celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Created in 2002 by the City of Paris and Bertrand Delanoë, the mayor at the time, it has gradually established itself on the cultural agenda of Parisians every first weekend in October. For the event, many museums, cultural institutions, public and private spaces open their doors to the public free of charge.
On the night of October 1 to 2, installations flourish in Paris, including Stéphanie Lüning's Island of Foam, an immersive foam installation at the Centre Pompidou, and Pierre Ardouvin's Purple Rain at theAcadémie du Climat. In each cultural venue, performances feature artists, dancers and even musicians, to promote artistic creation for the night. At the Philharmonie, the program is also packed with Nuit des Petits, offering families a musical interlude on the theme of nature.
