For its 15th edition, theAmnesty Film Festival, the film festival organized by Amnesty International, returns from Friday January 31 to Sunday February 2, 2025. On the program: the screening of committed feature films, which exist to show, alert and denounce attacks on fundamental rights and human dignity, following several political themes (discrimination, international justice, migration, etc.).
In addition to the screenings, these three days are an opportunity to meet and discuss with the filmmakers andAmnesty International members. Join us at the Luminor Hôtel de Ville cinema in Paris's 4th arrondissement, to discover 7 films that have been screened at the Cannes and Berlin festivals, as well as previews.
This year, director Céline Sallette, whose film Niki was revealed at Cannes, is the festival's guest of honor. The organizers are also offering a special day, packed with highlights and screenings on the theme of women's rights and gender minorities, including a round table entitled "L'envers de l'écran : les discriminations dans le 7e Art".
The seven films presented will be followed by meetings, exchanges and debates. These dramas and documentaries from different countries are competing for three prizes: the Human Rights Grand Prize, the Jury Prize and the Audience Prize.
