Hellfest 2024: Metallica in Clisson for the second time

Rumors have been swirling for some time. It's now confirmed: Metallica will indeed be returning to Hellfest, just two years after their very first appearance at the famous extreme music festival. Fans of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo will have the pleasure of reuniting with their idols on Saturday, June 29, 2024 in Clisson, for a new show that promises to be fiery and over-the-top! Note that 1-day Passes will go on sale at the beginning of 2024. 4-day passes are sold out.

Both Hellfest and the legendary Californian thrash metal band have made the announcement official on their social networks.

In 2022, Metallica arrived at Hellfest for the very first time, closing the XXL edition of the extreme-music festival in front of a largely conquered and delighted audience.

And this participation seems to have seduced the main interested parties too, as Metallica confirms its return to Hellfest on June 29, 2024, while the Californian band will be back on tour in Europe next summer. After setting the Stade de France on fire in the spring of 2023, Metallica is returning to the Old Continent on its " M72 World Tour", with dates in Munich, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Warsaw and Madrid. In addition to Hellfest, two other festivals have been added to Metallica's European tour: Milan and Oslo.
