Beauty and the Beast is a French fairy tale, first published in 1740 by Gabrielle-Suzanne de Villeneuve and abridged in 1756 by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont. The story follows Belle, a courageous young woman who sacrifices herself to save her father by becoming the prisoner of a Beast in an enchanted castle. Over time, Belle discovers that the Beast, despite its terrifying appearance, possesses a noble heart. Her love and compassion break the curse, transforming the Beast into a charming prince. Beauty and the Beast at the Grand Hotel des Reves is an opportunity to relive this mythical fairy tale in 2024, in an immersive version .

Our review:
Simply magical! In the heart of Paris, you're plunged into the world of Beauty and the Beast in a completely refurbished mansion. The sets are magnificent and meticulously crafted, so that nothing is left to chance. The spectator follows Belle through a revisited story of Beauty and the Beast, encountering numerous characters along the way: the Beast, Belle's father, tailors, butlers and even talking paintings!
The actors add to the immersive experience, playing the part from start to finish. You can interact with them quickly, but that's not the point of the show. The show remains a wandering spectacle, where young and old alike move from room to room, opening their eyes in wonder. While the Beast may be a little frightening for the very young, the show is truly thought-provoking for children and adults alike, who fall back into childhood.
The show ends on the top floor of thetownhouse, where you can sip tea, coffee or beer and enjoy a snack. It's a warm, friendly place where you can debrief the show before you've even left! We recommend this immersive show and can't wait to discover The True Story of Santa Claus!
