Do you like plays about love? Harold Pinter 's Trahisons, about a love triangle, is sure to please. The play runs at the Théâtre de l'Œuvre from January 29 to March 30, 2025, with a five-star cast including Swann Arlaud, Marc Arnaud and Marie Kauffmann.
In Trahisons at the Théâtre de l'Œuvre, Emma, a London gallery owner, has had a seven-year affair with Jerry, a literary agent and best friend of her husband Robert, a publisher. The play begins with a revelation: Emma tells Jerry that she has confessed everything to her husband. Moving backwards in time, Harold Pinter explores this triangular relationship, between encounters, separations, truths and lies. This inverted structure highlights the contradictions, silences and complexity of human feelings.
Harold Pinter was a British playwright, screenwriter and director, considered one of the greatest authors of the 20th century.
