10 days of meetings, exhibitions, concept stores and new boutiques, experiences and festive events. It's time for the latest edition of Paris Design Week, which takes over the four corners of the capital this September. This major annual event showcases French decoration, design andart de vivre at some one hundred participating venues.
Among these institutions is the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine. The Parisian museum, located on Place de la Concorde, is taking part in this 2024 edition of Paris Design Week, with a special program to be discovered from September 4 to 15.
The Cité de l'Architecture highlights the history and masterpieces of French architecture and heritage. Monuments, construction techniques, craftsmanship, but also modern cities and contemporary urban planning: the museum keeps alive the memory of important works in the cities of yesterday and today, thanks to numerous models, sculptures, casts, graphic works, photographs, archives...
During this latest edition of Paris Design Week, the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine is particularly interested in sport, the buildings that host competitions, and the way in which sporting activity is integrated into cities. Two exhibitions are featured during the event.
