In October 2024, the City of Paris launched a major photo competition to all those who took part as volunteers, athletes, professionals, the public... During the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in order to select the best shots to bring them all together, as a tribute to this period as magical as it was sporting, at a photo exhibition.
"The idea is to relive the collective emotion that overwhelmed us all", says Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris, "by giving pride of place to photos taken by Parisians, alongside those taken by professionals". The general public will be able to discover this beautiful exhibition in the Salle Saint-Jean from Saturday, December 21, 2024 to Saturday, March 1, 2025! Entirely free of charge and open to all, you'll still need to reserve a time slot to avoid overcrowding.
Les Jours heureux, as the exhibition is called, takes you back for a few hours to the hustle and bustle of Paris through stories, portraits of athletes and, above all, snapshots of spectators.
Against the backdrop of Parade, the official song by Victor Le Masne, discover the dresses worn by Céline Dion orAxelle Saint-Cirel and made by Dior Haute Couture, as well as the Olympic and Paralympic medals, the torch of the Flame... Step back in time as you walk through the Ceremony Corridor, with the playlist used especially for these great shows.
From the various opening and closing ceremonies to the Phrygians, star guests of this exhibition, immerse yourself in the spirit of the Paris 2024 Games one last time, until March 1, 2025!
