Fancy a immersive experience at the heart of digital art? If so, you're in for a treat. This time, an unusual exhibition with a futuristic feel awaits you in the 6tharrondissement of Paris: Humain-Reconnexion. The event takes place from January 22 to 25, 2025, on the premises of the Paris campus ofESME, the Ecole Spéciale de Mécanique et d'Electricité.
In this free exhibition, accessible by reservation, the general public is invited to experience a plunge into the heart of the digital arts, between interactive installations and projections. Some fifteen artists and studios have come together to offer us an experience in which technology is seen as a domain that brings humans together rather than isolating them. We are promised "an artistic journey where each installation creates a bridge between people" through works designed to give us a "unique sensory and emotional experience".
The cast of this interactive exhibition includes the following artists: Romain Astouric (DataFlaw), Johann Baron, Mélanie Courtinat, Justine Emard, Antonin Fourneau and Manuel Braun, Raphaël Isdant (in collaboration with Chiang Chia-Chi), Markos R. Kay, Cyril Martin, Scenocosme: Grégory Lasserre & Anaïs met den Ancxt, and Jisoo JOO with a production by Le Fresnoy, Studio national des arts contemporains 2022.
A photo booth that is triggered by screaming at the top of its lungs, a sphere that is illuminated by our energy, a gong that attempts to measure the links that bind us together - these are all unusual creations that, in effect, tend to reconnect humans through technology.
