Fête des Lumières 2024: a luminous and enchanted parade in Moret-sur-Loing (77)

In Paris, there's no shortage of illuminations and illuminated walks. But you don't have to come all the way here to enjoy these magical events, which embellish the festive season. In Seine-et-Marne, too, there are wonderful, free celebrations!

ThisFriday, December 7, 2024, we're off to Moret-sur-Loing to discover the town' sFestival of Lights . At dusk, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, various monuments and emblematic places in the town will be illuminated. Sound and light shows await you throughout the town. Take part in this magical journey, which takes you right up close to the stars. The theme of this year's Fête des Lumières is reflection, immersing you in magical, dreamlike worlds.

Four locations are illuminated during the evening. You're free to choose the order in which you want to see the different shows. Here are the details of the events scheduled for December 7:

• place de l'Hôtel de Ville
• Notre-Dame-de-la-Nativité church
• Cour de la mairie
• Square Caumartin

And from 6.30pm, adults are invited to enjoy a glass of mulled wine, distributed free of charge in the town hall square. It's a great way to get into theChristmas spirit and spend some quality time with the family!
