Prix Goncourt 2024: A special menu at Drouant, the literary prize institution

Founded in 1892 by Edmond de Goncourt's will, theAcadémie Goncourt was established in 1902, and has been awarding its first prize since 1914 at the famous Drouant restaurant. What if, for the duration of a meal, you were to step into the shoes of an Academician?

On the occasion of the Prix Goncourt 2024 being awarded on November 4, Drouant is opening its doors to gourmets for a cultural and gastronomic experience from November 4 to December 15, 2024: tasting the special menu signed by chef Romain Van Thienen usually served to Academicians on the day of the award ceremony.

Available in 3 or 6 courses, depending on your preference, this 190€ menu is accompanied, if you wish, bywine and food pairings (additional 120€) for even greater pleasure. For lunch or dinner, the experience begins with a glass of champagne before enjoying the menu, with this year's dishes featuring nods to the illustrious figures who have left their mark on the literary prize and the venue, on the occasion of the Goncourt's 122nd anniversary.

Afterwards, if they're free, guests can explore the famous Salon Goncourt and the library!
