The Chinese Museum at the Château de Fontainebleau
Set up by Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III, in 1863 on the first floor of the château's Gros Pavillon, the Musée chinois de Fontainebleau presents a remarkable collection of objects d'art and furniture from China, Thailand and Japan.
