Square René Viviani, located in the 5ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, is a haven of greenery nestled on the left bank of the Seine, just opposite Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral. Created in 1928, this public garden is known for housing one of the capital's oldest trees, a robinia planted in 1601. Its peaceful setting, complete with benches and medieval remains, makes it an ideal spot for a break in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Close to the Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre church, it offers a breathtaking view of the spires and gargoyles of Notre-Dame, adding a historic and picturesque touch to this green enclave.
