C ertainly the most typical, the most Parisian and the most famous of Montmartre's streets... It's undoubtedly the most commercial street in Montmartre village. It's just off the Blanche metro station, a stone's throw from the Moulin Rouge. For almost 800 m, it twists and turns around the south-western flank of the Butte Montmarte to arrive not far from the Place du tertre.
