"Opening a club and talking about a "club culture" is no easy task, given that the "discotheque" was once a symbol, a refuge and a den of "non-culture", the place where the son of the civet tobacconist tapped the high-school bimbo, thanks to his Golf GTI, his Buffalo and his bottle of "skai", forcing you to adopt a "deeper" profile, a Gainsbourg-style seduction, even if it means taking the risk of saying "you really are my best friend".
So if our Social Club does have one objective, one desire, one utopia, it's to prove to you on a daily basis that we are indeed at the heart of a cultural movement. With its endearing excesses (Tektonik), its elitist excesses (minimal-minimal), its technological excesses (Serato is already has-been...)... let us drift with pleasure.
SOCIAL CLUB will begin its history with a strong collaboration with a collective of militant, ultra-talented architects (www.exyzt.org) playing with ephemeral architecture. By promoting graphic culture as the foundation of its project with Laurent Fétis (our national monument!), who every 2 months will invite an artist or collective to design the program you're holding in your hands. And of course, every week we'll try to offer you a cutting-edge, mouth-watering program, in which the "historic" artists will allow the "nu comers" to reveal themselves.
Because that's where our dream of "socialization" lies: a dictatorship of curiosity. "The Social Crew.
