A veritable underground labyrinth, the Catacombs house the memories of Parisians over the centuries. The exhibition revives the memory of the many personalities of Paris's artistic and intellectual life, such as Girardon, La Fontaine and Jules Hardouin-Mansart, whose remains were transferred along with those of 6 million other Parisians as the capital's cemeteries were closed.
