Fête de la musique 2024: folk dancing on the forecourt of Notre-Dame de Paris

To mark the Fête de la Musique, this Friday, June 21, 2024, a major musical and participatory event awaits you on the square in front of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, on Place Jean-Paul II.

The Notre-Dame de Paris: au coeur du chantier exhibition, which takes place beneath the cathedral's forecourt, is now unveiled. From March 7, 2023, until the monument reopens, discover the work of the hundreds of men and women who are rebuilding the cathedral. It's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the highlights of the titanic construction site, to discover the work of the journeymen and craftsmen, and the challenges of reconstruction.

The Notre Dame de Paris parvis and rue du Parvis de Notre-Dame de Paris reopen

After closing for over 13 months and following the countless cleaning processes, the Parvis and the rue du Parvis de Notre-Dame de Paris are finally reopening. Following the positive statement from the Regional Health Agency (ARS) in Île-de-France, the Police Prefect has ordered a decree allowing the reopening.
