La Princesse au petit-pois dans la Tête already has 1700 performances to its credit. For more than 20 years, the 50-minute play has been making young and old laugh with its good-natured humor in a rather comic adventure! The decor is pleasant, like a "giant open book" where you turn the pages to change rooms, and the play is peppered with rhythmic songs.
The story takes place in the Bombec Kingdom. Young Princess Rose has a passion for sweets, which she lavishes on all the children in the kingdom, much to the dismay of her father the King and the court dentist.
The king, worried by the imminence of a great barley gathering very close to his kingdom, decides to set off on a journey to find knights from his distant cousin, with the aim of defending his city in the event of an ogre attack. He entrusts his daughter Rose with the onerous task of looking after the castle and its inhabitants in his absence. And she intends to do just that, sharing her sweets with all her subjects.
When the dentist comes to complain about the Princess 's behavior and the growing number of children with decayed teeth in his waiting room, he instantly falls for the pretty princess.
But the ogre who lives not far from the palace has every intention of serving up a few children at his big gathering with his fellow creatures.
Willthe princess and the dentist succeed in protecting the kingdom's children? We won't tell you, but you'll find out when you discover this beautiful show full ofhumor and song.
