Solitude, the first statue of a Black woman inaugurated in Paris

This week, Paris inaugurated the Solitude statue, an emblematic heroin in the fight against slavery in Guadeloupe, in the 17th arrondissement. This is the very first statue of a Black woman in the capital city.
